Road House Film Review

Road House is a reimagining of the 1984 film of the same name. This time, though, our protagonist (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a former UFC fighter turned bouncer, instead of Patrick Swayze‘s character going the route of bouncer to… bouncer. We also have roles from Conor McGregor and Post Malone. (continue for full Road House Film review)

Unfortunately, it appears as though director Doug Liman can’t quite figure out the film he wants to make. Is it a serious action thriller? Is it a satirical action comedy? With elements of both, it ends up somewhere in the murky middle.
