In all seriousness, though, Rose Glass‘ second feature film is a wild ride. If it weren’t such a significant production, I would deem it on the inevitable path to “cult classic”, but I’m not sure that an A24 picture starring Kristen Stewart, Katy O’Brian, James Franco, Ed Harris is quite underground enough for that honour. It maintains that niche, arthouse feel while showing off its significant budget (at least compared to Glass’ first feature, Saint Maud).
