Led by an incredible John Magaro, Omaha explores familial grief as a father and his two children journey from Utah to Omaha, Nebraska. Omaha is directed by Cole Webley and written by Robert Machoian. OMAHA - Sundance Film Review
PAYING FOR IT is the latest film from Canadian director Sook-Yin Lee. It is an adaptation of her ex-partner (and current best friend) Chester Brown's graphic novel. The film is the semi-autobiographical story of Lee and Brown as they explore a uniquely open relationship and Brown begins to foray into paying for sex. In this review, you can also hear from Sook-Yin Lee and Chester Brown themselves as they explain their backstory, their initial reaction to the film, and the unique subversion of nudity we see in the movie. ATROPIA - Sundance Movie Review (Grand Jury Winner)
SORRY, BABY is the winner of the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and is one of the "must-watch" movies from this year's festival. Sorry, Baby is the directorial debut from Eva Victor (who also wrote the script and stars in the film). It is an emotionally devastating project, even with its patience and restraint, as it explores trauma and one's ability to cope with pain.
