The TOP 10 FILMS Playing at CANNES 2025
SINNERS stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as twin brothers Elijah and Elias Moore, who return to their hometown in 1930s Mississippi with hopes of starting over, only to confront a haunting supernatural evil rooted in the land, their bloodline, and their past.

Directed by Ryan Coogler from his first original screenplay, Sinners blends period drama, vampire horror, musical set pieces, and explosive action into one of the most ambitious studio films in recent memory. Shot on IMAX film by Autumn Durald Arkapaw and featuring a stunning original score by Ludwig Göransson, the film features a breakout supporting performance from Miles Caton and a showstopping juke joint sequence already being called the best scene of the year.

The cast includes Michael B. Jordan, Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, and Delroy Lindo.

Sinners premiered on April 3, 2025, and was released theatrically by Warner Bros. Pictures on April 18. It has grossed over $70 million worldwide and is the highest-grossing original film since Us (2019).

SINNERS Film Review (The Music, Stories, and Cinematography)
ASH stars Eiza González as Riya, an astronaut who wakes up alone on a distant planet, discovering her space station crew has been mysteriously killed. Haunted by fragmented memories and nightmarish visions, Riya struggles to piece together what happened, unsure if she can trust Brion (Aaron Paul), the rescuer responding to her station's distress signal.

ASH is directed by Flying Lotus from a screenplay by Jonni Remmler, blending science fiction, horror, and thriller elements into a film that, unfortunately, emphasizes style over substance.

The cast includes Eiza González, Aaron Paul, Iko Uwais, Kate Elliott, Beulah Koale, and Flying Lotus himself.

ASH was released in theatres on March 21, 2025, and will be available to stream on Shudder later this year.

ASH Film Review: Sci-Fi Style Over Substance
TOGETHER stars Dave Franco and Alison Brie as a couple struggling to adjust to their new lives after moving to the countryside. With tensions already flaring, a nightmarish encounter with a mysterious, unnatural force threatens to corrupt their lives, their love, and their flesh.

Together made its debut at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and instantly became one of the most talked-about titles, igniting a bidding war that ended with Neon obtaining the distribution rights for an impressive $17 million – one of the biggest Sundance deals on record. With A24 also vying for the film, it’s clear that anticipation for its theatrical run is high, especially as it’s scheduled for release on August 1st, 2025.
